What are the costs involved in mediation?
Mediation is one of the most cost-effective ways to settle a dispute of any size or complexity.
It eradicates the long and protracted legal avenues that can result in mounting costs long before a settlement is in site.
Settling out of court with a one-off payment can also be far costlier than a mediation.
It's difficult to compare litigation and mediation costs on an item-for-item basis. But litigation costs can be difficult to estimate, and there is no guarantee of a good outcome.

How much will I be charged to engage Lloyd Mediation?
We view mediation as more than a charge for a service. It's an investment in a powerful process with a positive outcome that has long-term benefits.
The cost will depend on the complexity of the matter, the number of parties, and the value of the contract.
As each dispute is unique, it may also be that the fee structure is based on a combination of a fixed fee for the Mediation Process, plus a percentage of the value of the successfully mediated dispute.
